Was considering getting my dad a monitor, but I hear the cheap ones aren't very accurate. Got him a TSA approved (Ha! Sad, isn't it? ;)) laptop bag instead.

he has wanted a one since August, so I cringed and bought a Microlife BP A100 which was on sale for 89€.
